Red Velvet's Joy Returns to Acting With Webtoon-Based Live-Action Series One-of-a-Kind Romance

Story follows romance between ordinary girl, top actor

SM Entertainment confirmed on September 30 that K-pop girl group Red Velvet member Joy is set to make her acting comeback after four years, and will star in the upcoming live-action series One-of-a-Kind Romance, which is based on the webtoon of the same name.
The new series will mark her first live-action series role since 2022. Actor Hyun-jin Kim has been cast as the male lead, Moo-i Tak.
The storyline of the webtoon, which was created by Dooboo and serialized between 2018 and 2021, is:
Yu-il's ordinary life has been interrupted by top actor, Mu-i. Yu-il is looking for a corporate job while ignoring her true passion, writing. Meanwhile, Mu-i is dealing with the repercussions of having a stalker fan. As they navigate their hardships and find out how they complement each other, will these two be able to find their perfect romance?
