Shoko Nakagawa Announces Birth of Twins

Multi-talent Shōko Nakagawa (popularly known as Shokotan) announced the birth of her twin sons on Tuesday. “I gave birth to healthy twins safely around 9:30! The babies and I are all doing well!” Nakagawa also included a photo of herself holding her twin boys.

I gave birth to healthy twins safely around 9:30!
The babies and I are all doing well!
They each weighed over 2,600 grams [5.7 pounds]!
They even had a strong first cry when they were born.
I truly want to protect these tiny, strong lives with all my heart.
They both held my fingers tightly.
So cute!
I love the happiness of being able to call them by their names.
As of press time Nakagawa's post received over 5,000 replies, most of which are congratulations from her fans and colleagues. Notably, voice actor Ayana Taketatsu congratulated Nakagawa: “Congratulations Shoko-chan!!”
