Ninja Gaiden 4 Game Announces 'The Two Masters' DLC

Koei Tecmo announced on Friday during the "Ninja Gaiden 4: Legacy Evolved for a New Era" episode of the official Xbox Podcast that its Ninja Gaiden 4 game with Platinum Games and Team Ninja will get its first DLC "The Two Masters" in early 2026. The DLC will be part of the Deluxe Edition and Deluxe Upgrade (begins in video below at around 19:03).
The game will launch for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam on October 21.
The company describes the game:
An Ancient Enemy Returns: An endless rain of miasma hangs over a near-future Tokyo in the wake of an ancient enemy's resurrection. The fate of the city lies in the hands of young ninja prodigy, Yakumo. Fighting his way through cybernetic ninja soldiers and otherworldly creatures, Yakumo must reconcile a destiny he shares with the legendary Ryu Hayabusa himself and free Tokyo from the ancient curse that brought the city to its knees.
Players who pre-order the game will receive the Dark Dragon Descendant Yakumo Skin on launch.
Koei Tecmo Games announced in January the new Ninja Gaiden 4 game, a collaboration by developers Team Ninja and Platinum Games, as well as Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, a remastered version of the 2008 Ninja Gaiden II game.
The Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound game launched for PlayStation 4 and PS5 on July 31.
