Ponos Announces The Battle Cats vs Metal Slug Defense Collaboration
Get ready for a head-to-head showdown as the titans of tower defense come together for a wild collaboration that pits the bizarre-but-adorable felines of PONOS' The Battle Cats against the pixelated heroes of SNK-Playmore's Metal Slug Defense. The two heavy-hitters of the Japanese mobile gaming industry will join together for just one month to host this hilarious, hectic crossing of worlds, starting October 6th at 11:00am.
During the campaign, The Battle Cats will feature a wide selection of stages where the feisty felines can take on eleven visitors from the Metal Slug universe, including Marco, Tarma, Fio, Eri, and other favorites from the classic action series. Will the robot menace Jupiter King or the demon sergeant Allen O'Neill be enough to stop the adorable onslaught? If the Cat army is able to bring down the enemy base, players will have a chance to rescue and recruit superpowered secret agent “Hyakutaro”, a Metal Slug fan favorite only available through this campaign.
