Distributor to announce new acquisitions before year's end

Jamie Marchi as Shirley Yeager
Trina Nishimura as Francesca Licchini
Luci Christian as Erica Hartmann

Funimation announced during the panel that a trailer for the anime is now posted on its website.

Funimation's official Twitter account also confirmed during the panel that the first part of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood anime will be available in May 2010.

During the panel, Funimation announced the release dates for a few other series. The DVDs for the Shikabane Hime series will be available in summer 2010. The re-dubbed Initial D box set, the Initial D: Third Stage movie, and the Darker than Black box set will all be available in March 2010.

The panel also revealed that Funimation will be announcing some new acquisitions before the end of the year. The "FUNimation's 2010 Roll-out Riot" will be coming soon, possibly as early as next week on the company's blog.

The panel hosted guests Mike McFarland (ADR Director of Evangelion: 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone/Evangelion Shin Gekijōban: Jo, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) and J. Micheal Tatum (Spice and Wolf's Lawrence, ADR Director of RIN - Daughters of Mnemosyne). Both guests answered questions fans submitted via email before the show.

Funimation hosted its first online panel in October. The first panel is available for viewing on Funimation's YouTube channel.

The manga publisher Tokyopop started hosting a similar series of "webinars" in August.
