The YouTube website is streaming the five-minute "Yona Yona Penguin Kōkai Kinen Amigo Special" program on Rintaro's Yona Yona Penguin 3D computer-animated film. This joint project between Thailand's Imagimax, Japan's Dynamo Pictures, and France's Def2Shoot is opening in Japan on Wednesday. The film already screened at Spain's Sitges festival.
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Tomohiro Matsu and Peco's Mayoi Neko Overrun! (Stray Cats Overrun!) romantic comedy light novels has posted a 100-second promotional video. The story revolves around Takumi Tsuzuki, a boy who lives with his older "sister" Otome, although the two have no blood ties between them. Otome manages a run-down confectionary store called Stray Cats. One day, Otome picks up a mysterious beautiful girl off the streets. The series will premiere in Japan in April.
The anime adaptation of Ohba-Kai's Tono to Issho 4-panel gag manga will ship as an original video anime on DVD on March 25, and the official website is streaming a new promotional video via YouTube. The manga follows the humorous exploits of generals during Japan's tumultuous sengoku (Era of the Warring States) period. The DVD will include a bonus anime called "Gackt mo Issho," since the singer and actor Gackt is playing a character in the anime.

Blood-C BD+DVD ... either one of the most brilliantly shocking horror series ever created, or one of the biggest practical jokes ever played on an anime-viewing audience.
Mikunopolis in Los Angeles Blu-Ray The lively music, flashy visuals, and digitally-generated performers result in a form of entertainment unlike any other.
Berserk: The Golden Age Arc II: The Battle for Doldrey On the whole, The Battle for Doldrey is a mixed bag of strengths and weaknesses. While that may be true of most things, there are few places where those lines are so clearly drawn as in this film.
InuYasha Movie Blu-ray Complete Collection Four movies, all so rigidly formulaic that they could be sequential remakes. This is an entertaining set all told, but you can get the same experience (or better) by watching the first film four times.
K-ON! The Movie Blu-Ray The movie finishes what the TV series began, with a story that goes beyond a typical episode, but stops short of being an epic, life-changing experience.
Sailor Moon GN 8 -10 The fourth story arc of Naoko Takeuchi's Sailor Moon saga, known to many fans as “Sailor Moon SuperS,” may have a reputation from the anime as being one of the weakest arcs, but the two and a half volumes that make it up in the manga are among the best the series has to offer.
Kids on the Slope Blu-Ray Jazz music is much the stars as the main cast in this story about teens who become friends in late 1960s Japan. Great sounds and good character development bolster what is otherwise a fairly pedestrian character drama.
One Piece DVD Season 4 Part 4 When the set ends, it's on a note of combined hope and sadness that drives us onto the next volume as surely as the mounting disasters of last volume drove us to this one.
Baka and Test OVA BD+DVD You may not get anything substantial from this brief OVA, but it's a lot of fun to watch regardless.
House of Five Leaves GN 8 House of Five Leaves does a fine job of finishing up its intricate, character-driven ending, but the series' ultimate accomplishment is the way it defies all expectations of the samurai genre.
