Rui no Masaiban Fantasy Drama CD's Anime Promo Streamed

Asahi Production animates video for dark fantasy about youngest magical judge

The animated promotional video for the drama CD Rui no Masaiban (Rui's Magical Trials) began streaming on YouTube on Wednesday. The original dark fantasy story revolves around Rui, the youngest ever "magical judge" who weighs the fate of demons.

Asahi Production (Hello Kitty, Sugar Bunnies) animated this promotional video for Cucuri and Anipicture's CD, which Frontier Works and Geneon Universal Entertainment will release in Japan on February 22. Singer/songwriter Yoshinobu Sena ("Install" anime pilot) voices Rui, and Akira Ishida (Gundam Seed Destiny's Athrun Zala, Saiyuki's Cho Hakkai) plays a fellow magical judge named Hauna. Fumihiko Tachiki, Akiko Yajima, Hiroki Takahashi, Daisuke Kishio, Kotono Mitsuishi, and Showtaro Morikubo round out the cast.
