Kankaku Piero to perform new opening premiering this month

This year's combined sixth and seventh issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that "SOLIDEMO with Sakura men" will perform the new ending theme song "My Song My Days" for the Black Clover anime. SOLIDEMO previously performed a theme song for the second Fairy Tail anime. Sakura men are a 10-member pop group who play traditional Japanese instruments.

The official website had revealed last month that Kankaku Piero will perform the anime's sixth opening theme song "Rakugaki Page" (Scribble Page). The song will debut as the new opening this month. The four-man band previously performed the anime's first opening song "Haruka Mirai."

Black Clover was originally listed with 51 episodes, but the anime continued into a new season with episode 52 on October 2.

The anime premiered in Japan in October 2017. Crunchyroll is streaming the series in Japanese with English subtitles, and Funimation is streaming the show's English dub. The show debuted on Adult Swim's Toonami programming block in December 2017.

Tatsuya Yoshihara (Monster Musume, Yatterman Night, Muromi-san, Long Riders!) is directing the anime at Studio Pierrot. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Is the order a rabbit?, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, Yatterman Night) is handling the series composition. Itsuko Takeda (Ristorante Paradiso, Level E, Blue Drop) is the character designer and Kumiko Tokunaga (2nd season of Kingdom) is the sub-character designer. Kosei Takahashi (key animation for Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Monster Hunter Stories RIDE ON) is the prop designer, Aiko Shinohara (Fairy Tail, The Heroic Legend of Arslan) is handling the color design, and Minako Seki (The Silver Guardian, both seasons of Kingdom) is composing the music.
