Louisville Anime Weekend 2014 (LAW) Announces Guests Lineup

LOUISVILLE, KY - LAW is pleased to present its current list of attending guests. Attendees will be joined by VA guests Todd Haberkorn and Reuben Langdon. Musical guests include the Asterplace, Junko Fujiyama, Solarbear, and 2d6. Industry & Media guests include The D20 Girls Project along with Emerald Coast Cosplay. Console & LAN Gaming hosted by The LANding Zone.

LAW will be held July 4-6, 2014, at the Louisville Crowne Plaza Airport Expo Center in Louisville, KY. Pre-registration for the weekend is $35.00 till July 1st. Details on pre-registration and group admission can be found at www.sukoshicon.com/louisville

Todd Haberkorn
Todd Haberkorn is a proud member of the anime community and continues to be its humble servant by way of English dubbing. Haberkorn received his BFA in acting from Southern Methodist University and continues to work professionally in Texas & California as an actor, director, producer, and writer. Haberkorn has provided a voice for lead roles in Fairytale as Natsu, Sgt. Frog as Keroro, Suzuka as Yamato, Ghost Hunt as Naru, Claymore as Raki, Holic as Wataknuki, D. Gray Man as Allen Walker, Sands of Destruction as Kyrie, and Soul Eater as Death the Kid. A few supporting roles include Itsuki in Shuffle, Ichimoruken in Hell Girl, Firo in Baccano!, Kono in Darker than Black, Hikaru in Ouran High School Host Club, Ling Yao in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Khoza in One Piece.

Reuben Langdon
Reuben Langdon is a Los Angeles-based Actor/Producer and martial art/stuntman of game cinematics on AAA game titles and Hollywood movies. Starting his career in Japan as a series regular acting in the Japanese superhero TV series "B- FighterKabuto." He later relocated to Hong Kong to work alongside the most recognizable names in action, including Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung, working his way to Hollywood as an actor and stuntman on the international hit show "The Power Rangers."Complimenting his success in the world of film and television, he has performed in and produced numerous motion capture shoots for interactive video games, most notability the Resident Evil and Devil May Cry franchises. His motion capture performances have made it to the big screen in Steven Spielberg's and Peter Jackson's, The Adventures of Tintin, and James Cameron's Avatar.

The Asterplace
The Asterplace is a Tokyo Melodic Core / Japanese Anime Rock Band from Japan, based in New York City. “The Asterplace" means creating beautiful music, reminiscent of a flower blossoming every year. The origin of the name came directly from their beautiful melody of music. As the sun illuminates the world, as the moonlight shines in the sky, The Asterplace plays music that touches the whole world. Their performances include several large festivals across NYC and conventions such as DC Sakura Matsuri ,Tribecca Film Festival, Zenkaikon, Tora Con and more. The Asterplace's entertainment rock show crosses over races, sexes, ages, and borders. A complete rock entertainment show with their variety of music style is a perfect fit for all audiences.

Junko Fujiyama
Junko Fujiyama is a Japanese singer/songwriter, currently located in North Carolina and performs all over the United States. She has worked with several bands (Fujiyama Roll, etc.) as the lead singer and has also become a solo performer. She has performed at many cultural events, benefits, music festivals, nightclubs, and anime conventions. Since she started playing piano when she was 5, and singing in a city chorus in her hometown, Aomori Japan, at the age of 9, she has learned to sing a various genre of songs. Pop, Rock, Children's songs and even Enka (Japanese traditional folk). Junko's original song can be described as J-rock and J-pop blended together. They are powerful, delicate and intriguing. She also covers J-pop/Rock and anime themed songs, adding some American Pop flavor to make them even sweeter!

Solarbear
Curtis Ware (Solarbear) is a chiptune musician who uses solely old school videogame hardware to make music. ALWAYS looking for shows and collaborations.

The D20 Girls Project
The D20 girls try to promote a very positive image of female gamers, We break down stereotypes, we aren't barbie dolls, we don't come in one size, and we don't come in one shape... We are Gamers, and yes Girls Game Too!

Mike Smith
Mike of EmeraldCoastCosplay.com has been in the world of photography since 2007, and in the world of Cosplay Photography since 2009. He has worked with many great cosplayers throughout the southeast and travels to as many conventions as he can to find new talent! EmeraldCoastCosplay.com also features a gallery of "Idols", which are a group of fantastic female cosplayers he works with whenever he can. Each idol is unique in her own way and has her own style, and Mike works his magic to blend their beauty with natural surroundings without having to do a lot of post-process editing. ABOUT SUKOSHI CON: Sukoshi Con is a brand of conventions, bringing new social and interactive innovations to the Anime Convention scene. The company was founded as a way to give Anime fans access to Anime, Cosplay, and Gaming, hosting multiple Anime Conventions throughout the year in various states in the Southeast. The core focus of Sukoshi Con is to be a "Social Anime Convention" that promotes interacting with fellow fans, keeping the sub-culture feel.
