The fantasy action webtoon series Tiger Brother is being adapted into a 3D-animated feature film, slated for release in the first half of 2026.

The story of the webtoon on Naver Webtoon reads:

A ruthless half-man, half-beast named White Eyebrows seeks to use the child to rule the world. Caught up in the chaos, a monstrous tiger named Bbareu and an aspiring warrior Ga-woo unexpectedly become the child's protectors. Now, this unlikely duo must join forces to protect the child—and the world—from falling into White Eyebrows' hands!

Originally launched in 2015 and created by Sang-kyu Lee, Tiger Brother has maintained steady popularity on Naver Webtoon. Locus Animation Studios, known for its work on the adult occult animation Exorcism Chronicles: The Beginning, is producing the upcoming theatrical adaptation. Exorcism Chronicles: The Beginning attracted 500,000 viewers in Korea.

The Tiger Brother film is currently in the final stages of visual production, including key animation, lighting, rendering, and compositing, with completion expected by the end of this year. Post-production and marketing will follow, leading up to the film's theatrical debut.

According to Korean trade media outlet Chosun Biz, Locus Animation Studios is collaborating with Naver Webtoon's Studio N on this project, and is also developing additional animated content based on popular Naver IPs. The company is also expanding into international co-productions with Japanese studios.

Currently, an English version of the webtoon is not available.
