Yasunobu Yamauchi Launches Joshi Kōkōsei no Nichijō Manga on October 18

Yamauchi previously drew Daily Lives of High School Boys comedy manga

The November issue of Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine revealed on Friday that Yasunobu Yamauchi will launch a new manga titled Joshi Kōkōsei no Nichijō (Daily Lives of High School Girls) on Square Enix's Gangan Online website on October 18. The magazine teases the manga, "High School girls are also silly."

Yamauchi launched the Daily Lives of High School Boys (Danshi Kōkōsei no Nichijō) manga on Gangan Online in 2009, and ended it in September 2012. Square Enix published seven volumes for the manga. Vertical published the manga volumes in English, and Square Enix's Manga UP! Global service publishes the manga digitally. 

The manga inspired a television anime in 2012. NIS America released the anime on home video. The manga also inspired a live-action film adaptation in 2013.

Yamauchi launched the Hakurai no Kishi (The Knight of White Thunder) fantasy manga on Gangan Online in 2019. The manga ended in its fifth and final compiled book volume in 2022.
