Konami Expands Yu-Gi-Oh! Product Lines In Germany

New Apparel Among New Product Lines Announced


NEW YORK, NY October 13, 2025 – Konami Cross Media NY, Inc. is stepping up its licensing and merchandising efforts in one of the most popular markets in Europe for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME, Germany.

The announcement was made today by Jennifer Coleman, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Licensing at the company.

g.l.a.m. GmbH & Co.KG (glam), the full-service licensing agency in the German region with impeccable retailer and licensee relationships, will take on the role as the new sub agent for Yu-Gi-Oh! in Germany. Kristin Ehring, who has served as Director Sales and Accounts at glam for the past 18 years, will oversee the Yu-Gi-Oh! expansion, which also covers the Austrian and Swiss markets.

Said Coleman: “The team at glam knows and understands our demographic. With their strong retailer relationships, extensive knowledge of the market and impressive network of licensees, glam will help us grow both in revenue and awareness while satisfying fans' desire for Yu-Gi-Oh! merch in the territory.”

Focused categories are toys & games, fashion & accessories, home & living as well as back to school products. glam first presented Yu-Gi-Oh! at the recent BRANDmate trade show in Essen and made additional presentations at the recently concluded Brand Licensing Expo in London.

One of the first deals finalized by the glam team and Konami Cross Media NY is an agreement with Van der Erve. The Belgium-based apparel manufacturer, known for its strong portfolio of manga and anime, gaming, and character entertainment IP, will create a Yu-Gi-Oh! apparel collection for children and adults that will launch throughout Europe and the UK.
