Hikaru Utada Announces 'Mine or Yours (The Blessed Madonna's Godsquad Mix)' Out October 20

Tokyo, Japan — Following the October 6 release of Yaeji's remix, which quickly reached number one on Japan's iTunes Dance Music Chart, a second remix of Hikaru Utada's latest single “Mine or Yours” has been revealed, courtesy of The Blessed Madonna. “Mine or Yours (The Blessed Madonna's Godsquad Mix)” comes out on October 20.
Originally released in May and gaining widespread recognition following a performance on the popular YouTube channel THE FIRST TAKE, Utada's “Mine or Yours” will also be released on vinyl on Wednesday, November 26. To celebrate its physical release, Utada called on artists all over the world to offer a new sonic perspective on the song.
The Blessed Madonna, formerly known as The Black Madonna, is a world renowned DJ, producer and cultural curator known for her genre defining sets blending house, techno, disco and pop. To mark the release, a special pre-order campaign begins today. Fans who pre-order the track via iTunes before 23:59 Japan time on October 19, the day before the release, will receive an original ruler featuring the “Mine or Yours” logo. In addition, Hikaru Utada's live concert film “HIKARU UTADA SCIENCE FICTION TOUR 2024” will hit Vieshow Cinemas across Taiwan starting November 14. Fans can experience the breathtaking performance on the big screen, fully immersed in the stunning visuals and powerful sound delivered in 5.1 surround sound. Attendees will also receive a limited-edition illustrated bear sticker, available while supplies last.
To celebrate the screenings, a limited-time pop-up event will take place at the Glass House in Huashan 1914 Creative Park, Taipei, from November 14 to November 23. The pop-up will feature reproductions of photographic works and offer exclusive merchandise, including apparel and lenticular photo cards.

About Hikaru Utada
Since their debut on 9 December 1998, Hikaru Utada has achieved numerous remarkable milestones in their career. Their debut single “Automatic/time will tell” sold over two million copies, propelling them to become one of Japan's top artists at the young age of 15. Just a few months later, their first album “First Love” shattered Japanese CD sales records that still stand unbroken today.
In 2022, their eighth album “BAD MODE”, which includes collaboration songs with artists such as Skrillex, A.G.
