Gundam Franchise Hosts 1st Global, Multilingual Ranking Poll

The official Gundam website celebrated its reopening on Thursday by announcing the franchise's first Global Gundam Poll the next day. The poll is open to Gundam fans worldwide and is offered in 10 different languages.
Fans can vote on their favorite "Gundam-type mobile suits and other mobile suits bearing the 'Gundam' name" (with exceptions) once a day until December 25 at 11:59 p.m. Japan Time (9:59 a.m. EST). The poll is in Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong), Traditional Chinese (Taiwan), Thai, French, Italian, Spanish, and Korean, and it will offer Simplified Chinese later.
The poll includes 233 Gundam units across 34 different Gundam TV series, original video anime (OVA) projects, and films. The polls lists the variants and upgrades of some Gundams as individual entries, such as the Strike Gundam (with Aile Strike Gundam, Sword Strike Gundam, Launcher Strike Gundam, and Perfect Strike Gundam variants) and Unicorn Gundam (Unicorn Mode and Destroy Mode plus Full Armor Unicorn Gundam's Unicorn Mode and Destroy Mode).
So far, the poll has already tallied 257,648 votes, and it will announce its results next spring.
The Gundam Official website launched on October 8. The website hosts links to each Gundam series' homepage as well as Gundam related news, streaming services, merchandise, original content, and more.
