Atlanta's MomoCon to Host U.S. Debut of Wonder Festival Event for Figures, Models, Garage Kits

The staff of the Atlanta-based MomoCon convention announced on Monday that it will host the U.S. debut of Japan's Wonder Festival event for figures, models, and garage kits. The event will feature exhibitions by international figure and model manufacturers, sales and shows from creators, collectibles, and other exhibits.

Wonder Festival will have a full pavilion of about 4,600-9,300 m² (about 50,000-100,000 ft²) within MomoCon's exhibit hall, which is about 700,000 ft².

Next year's MomoCon will take place from May 21-24 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. This year's convention took place from May 22-25.

The Wonder Festival events began in 1985, and are held twice a year. The events showcase figures and models from both professionals and amateurs. Kaiyodo has organized the events since 1992.

The festival has held events outside of Japan, including Bangkok, Thailand in 2024, Korea in 2025, and Shanghai, China in 2025.
