Adult manga publisher FAKKU announced on Monday that it has acquired adult anime publisher Kitty Media. FAKKU will add hentai anime from Kitty Media to its online catalog at no additional cost, and will also offer DRM-free digital purchases.

Kitty Media was established in 1997 as an imprint of Media Blasters. Media Blasters will continue to handle physical media releases, while FAKKU will handle digital distribution. Media Blasters will also "coordinate and extend licensing opportunities for new content to FAKKU."

FAKKU confirmed that its catalog will include Itadaki! Seieki, Fuzzy Lips, Spaceship Agga Rutter, Aki Sora, and KITE.

FAKKU began as a website for hosting user-submitted translations of hentai manga, and it entered the digital and physical publishing business in 2014 through a partnership with Japanese publisher Wanimagazine. FAKKU's website offers subscription-based access to digital manga, and also publishes physical books online.
