Also offered: Evangelion-inspired NERV HQ cake, Macross Frontier ramen, Kamen Rider birthday cake

Premium Bandai, Bandai's official shopping website, took pre-orders for a One Piece-themed "Thousand Sunny Roll Cake." The preliminary batch of orders is already sold out.

The roll cake is made of sponge cake with a cream filling, and has chocolate cream and cocoa powder on the outside. The set comes with a mast and lion figurehead to make the roll cake look like the Thousand Sunny ship that Monkey D. Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates sail in the One Piece manga and anime. The set also comes with forks featuring the characters Monkey D. Luffy and Tony Tony Chopper.

The roll cake costs 2,940 yen (about US$38), and will ship in November.

The website is also offering an Evangelion-inspired NERV headquarters cake, a Macross Frontier-themed cup ramen, and a Kamen Rider birthday cake.

As previously reported, Bandai has also been selling a One Piece Thousand Sunny dessert dish, and an Evangelion Angel roll cake.

Bandai sold the first Evangelion Cake: Angel Chocolate Cake — a traditional round cake with a Spear of Longinus fork and a Rei figure — last September.
