7-foot powered suit can hold items up to 4 pounds, mimic rider's movements

Sagawa Electronics revealed their 7-foot-tall Power Jacket MK3 robot mobile suit last week. The suit imitates the body movements of the person riding inside of it with its metallic limbs constructed from aluminum and carbon fibers. The current model can only lift items up to 2 kilograms (about 4.4 pounds) due to safety concerns. The suit will retail for 12.5 million yen ($123,600), and is scheduled to debut at the Wonder Festival 2013 convention on July 28.

The company posted a humorous introduction video with English subtitles featuring Scarface Santaro:

Sagawa Electronics has also posted a digital manga online introducing the suit in both Japanese and English.
