The Guy who Voices Rin From Free! Admits He Can't Actually Swim

Japanese fans are having a good laugh with this one. In a press interview at the premiere Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters movie, where he does the voice-over for Percy Jackson, voice actor Mamoru Miyano admitted... he doesn't know how to swim.
After a reporter asked what he'd do if he were a demi-god, Miyano said, "Since I can't swim, I'd like to experience the sensation of playing with water."
It's an honest and somewhat trivial response, but anime fans got a chuckle out of it, considering he voices swimming fanatic Rin Matsuoka in Kyoto Animation's Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club.
