Animate Stores Will Screen 1st Attack on Titan Episode in Kansai Dialect
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Earlier this year, the Attack on Titan manga got a goofy re-translation into Kansai dialect. Some lines were changed to reference Osaka staples, like baseball team rivalries or specific insults. Everyone had a laugh, and then the series' animation staff decided to get in on the joke too.

Animate stores throughout Japan will screen the Shingeki no Kyojin Kōhen: Jiyū no Tsubasa compilation film. Prior to the film beginning, the stores will also screen a re-dubbed edition of the first television episode. Admission is free but there are a limited number of seats and showings. Showings will start on December 11 for a few days only. The Blu-ray and DVD release of Shingeki no Kyojin Kōhen: Jiyū no Tsubasa is slated of December 16.
The home video release will also include the episode as a bonus feature.
