Over 1,000 Line Up for KanColle Arcade Location Test in Osaka

Last weekend, the staff of the Kantai Collection Arcade game set up test cabinets in Osaka. The test cabinets let players try out the game's final stage, but would only be available until 11:00 p.m. Sunday.
The game was initially planned for release last summer but has faced continued delays. Fans were eager to try out the long-awaited title with over 1,000 lining up for a chance to try it out.

Tickets were handed out with lottery numbers by the second day since demand was too high. Not everyone was pleased with the chain of events. Bystanders observed Osaka police and fire department personnel show up at the scene due to a disturbance.
Kantai Collection Arcade cabinets utilize character cards which unlock battle scenes to show off their respective characters. Cards have been released ahead of the arcade game launch at test cabinets and special events. The card have, in turn, pulled in a nice profit for sellers using online auction websites.
