More Fine Artists Want to Paint Their Way Into Your Heart in Palette Parade

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

During the summer, we were introduced the initial cast of Silicon Studio's Palette Parade, an otome mobile game starring the world's brightest artists as agreeable, handsome men. Initially the game only revealed the happy-go-lucky Vincent van Gogh, Gustave Courbet, Leonardo da Vinci, and Pierre-Auguste Renoir. The game as since expanded, revealing it will separate characters by art classifications like Post-impressionism, Realismm Renaissance, Impressionist, Baroque, Japan, Romanticism, Mannerism, Modern, Rococo, Gothic, Neoclassicalism, and Other. All together, a total of 30 character designs have been revealed thus far.

The staff announced the next round of artsy guys and some of their voice actors, too.

KENN will voice Michelangeo, the nemesis of da Vinci and Raphael (Raffaello) and the creator of David. Daisuke Namikawa voices Raffaello, a calm and mature artist that acts as everyone's big brother.

The game also introduced a rock and roll version of Eugène Delacroix, a stoic Doménikos "The Greek" Theotokópoulos, a playful Edvard Munch, a graceful Alfons Mucha, partier Antoine Watteau, father-type Giotto di Bondone, an astutely serious Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres, innocent boy Jan van Eyck (voiced by Tsubasa Yonaga), and his older brother Hubert van Eyck (voiced by Atsushi Abe).

The game is still in development with a tentative launch scheduled for some time next summer.
