posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
This week's issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump contains some exciting news for Bleach fans. Tite Kubo's popular manga series turned live-action film is getting two art books, totaling 500 pages, titled Bleach Illustration Collection: JET.
The collection will include over 700 color illustrations drawn over the manga's 15 year run along with brand new illustrations and production materials. The books will be sold together in a hard case.
Shuiesha will accept pre-orders for the art book collection until August 20 and then ship the orders on December 4.
Kubo launched Bleach in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2001, and ended it in August 2016. Viz Media published the manga in North America digitally in English as Shueisha published new chapters in Japan. Viz Media is also publishing the manga in print. Author Ryohgo Narita is writing the Bleach: Can’t Fear Your Own World novel on the Shonen Jump+ app.
The live-action Bleach film will open in theaters in Japan July 20 with Sōta Fukushi starring as protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki.
