Saga Governor Cosplays as Kotaro, Shares His Love for Zombie Land Saga on TV Program

The governor of Saga Prefecture Yoshinori Yamaguchi appeared on a Zombie Land Saga-themed TV program on TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting, which aired on Monday. Yamaguchi's love for the anime is evident when he appears dressed up as Franchouchou manager Kotaro and reenacts one of his scenes. A Twitter user captured the moment in a recorded video:

The program introduces the various Zombie Land Saga collaborations and events happening in the Saga Prefecture. The governor also visits the real-life locations depicted in the anime.
The Zombie Land Saga anime premiered on October 4. The anime follows Sakura Minamoto, who dreams of being an idol, but is hit by a car and wakes up as a zombie. A man named Kōtarō Tatsumi appears and tells her he's recruiting her into an idol group made up of zombies, dead girls he has "recruited" from several eras of Japanese history. The series is getting a sequel titled Zombie Land Saga Revenge.
