Manga Jiman Shortlist Entries Posted Online

Eleven shortlisted entries on theme of our reliance on technology; winners to be announced on January 24

The website for the annual Manga Jiman contest has posted the shortlisted entries for the fourteenth competition, which closed on November 16 2020. The strips can be read by clicking on the respective artists' pictures.

The competition winner will be announced on Zoom on Wednesday January 24 at 7 p.m., with registration available at the above link.

According to the competition announcement in 2020, ''Technology has been playing an ever greater role in our lives, and now more than ever we are relying on technology to keep in touch with our loved ones, conduct our work and live out our daily lives. How the theme is interpreted is down to the entrant, but it must be a written or visual reference, and please state how your work references the theme on your entry form."
