Sonic the Hedgehog U.K. Promotion in McDonalds

McDonalds has released the above commercial, showing a new series of Sonic the Hedgehog Happy Meal toys, which will be available until February 6. According to McDonalds' British web page, there will be twelve toys themed around Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy, "including hoverboards, tower stackers, puzzles and mosaic posters."

The advertisement specifies, "Sonic range comprises toys only, available at different times, while stocks last."

In addition, there is a Sonic-themed Happy Meal box, pictured, which includes a QR code on the side. This unlocks "the Sonic Speed Stimulator," a digital adventure featuring the Sonic characters.

The Siliconera website reports that flags featuring the Sonic characters can also be picked up in stores.
