Crunchyroll Launches More Animated Ads Featuring Rashmika Mandanna and Tiger Shroff

Crunchyroll announced its new ad campaign on Tuesday featuring new short films that whisk Rashmika Mandanna and Tiger Shroff back to their anime worlds. While last year's campaign celebrated Mandanna's birthday as well as the Indian Premiere League cricket tournament, this year's campaign focuses on the expansive library of Indian language dubs that the streaming platform now hosts.
Drive Inc. is back producing Mandanna's video as she falls into dreamy romantic encounter with her feline friend by her side.
ARECT, Inc. again animated the shonen-esque video featuring Shroff, advertising Crunchyroll's Tamil and Telugu dubs.
Crunchyroll launched its first Indian advertising campaign in April 2024 with two anime shorts by the respective Japanese studios starring the Bollywood stars.
The company announced its promotional partnership Shroff and Mandanna in July 2023.
Rashmika Mandanna presented at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2024 in Tokyo in March that year. Preceding the appearance, the company had gifted the actress a portrait of her as a shinobi as a nod to her favorite anime Naruto Shippūden. It also gifted Tiger Shroff an anime-style portrait in November 2023.
The Crunchyroll Anime Awards streamed with a Hindi dub this year. An option to watch the award show with a Hindi dub was available for the first time ever at this year's awards. It also presented an award for Best Hindi Voice Artist Performance for the first time this year.
