MAPPA Animates New Citizen Watch Commercial With New B'z Song

Japanese animation studio MAPPA announced on June 6 that it animated a new Citizen Watch commercial. The ad is for Citizen's new "Unite with Blue" collection and is now viewable on YouTube:

Yasumoto Okamoto directed the commercial with Yoshiko Matsumura as the main animator. Other staff members includes art director Yūji Kaneko, compositing director of photography Maki Morikawa, production assistant Ryūta Yamaguchi, and animation producer Makoto Arakawa.

Japanese rock duo B'z contributed their new song “Into the Blue” for the commercial. The song was released on June 5 in conjunction with Citizen's Unite with Blue campaign.
