This Is How Nukitashi The Animation Airs in Tokyo With Only the Audio
posted on by Ken Iikura-Gross

ANN's Japan-based staff confirmed how the Tokyo MX1 channel premiered the audio-only broadcast of Nukitashi the Animation on July 22. The premiere ran the episode's entire audio track over the series logo with a beach backdrop. The ending animation sequence of the premiere episode was actually what would become the opening animation sequence for the rest of the series; it aired, with both video and audio tracks, directly after the audio-only broadcast in its censored, fully regulated version. This version of the sequence is also available on YouTube:
ANN's Japan-based staff also confirmed the audio in the fully regulated version and streaming-only version is the same. That is, words and terms regarding sexual acts have been censored, while words such as “sex” and some euphemisms are left uncensored. During sexually explicit scenes, though, the fully regulated version censors the screen with the series logo, series mascot Hamedori-kun, or other visuals.
As of press time, ANN's Japan-based staff could not confirm how the Japanese premium subscription channel AT-X is presenting the uncensored Seiran Island version of Nukitashi the Animation.
Nukitashi the Animation announced the four broadcast versions of the series on July 14. As of press time, Tokyo MX1 is the only broadcaster to air the audio-only version of the series.
