Bakuman, Mazinkaizer SKL, Arakawa Under the Bridge × 2 Videos Posted

The Japanese public television station NHK has begun streaming a trailer for the first episode of the Bakuman. anime series on Friday. The anime adapts Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's Bakuman. story about two aspiring manga creators in high school. (Ohba and Obata had previously collaborated on the Death Note manga.) The television series will premiere on October 2.
The official website for the Mazinkaizer SKL anime has revamped itself and has begun streaming a theatrical teaser trailer on Saturday. The new project is billed as the return of the MazinKaiser anime franchise, which is itself a spinoff from Gō Nagai's classic super robot manga and anime series, Mazinger Z. Director Jun Kawagoe (New Getter Robo) and designers Takeshi Itou (Cybuster), Hiroshi Ogawa (Great Dangaioh), and Munetaka Abe (Kotetsushin Jeeg animation director) are working on the new anime at the studio Actas. Kazuya Hoshi is serializing a Mazinkaizer SKL Versus manga on the Shū 2 Comic Gekkin site from Bandai Visual's Emotion video production subsidiary. The three-episode video anime series will be previewed at Bandai Visual's Anime Fes "VS" theater screenings starting on November 27.
King Records' Starchild label has begun streaming a preview television commercial for the Arakawa under the Bridge × Bridge television anime series on Saturday. Like the first series, the new series adapts Hikaru Nakamura's manga about the eccentric characters who live under Arakawa Bridge. The series will premiere in Japan on October 4.
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Tsukasa Fushimi's Ore no Imōto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai (Oreimo) comedy light novel series has begun streaming a commercial narrated by the character Index (Yuka Iguchi) from Toaru Majutsu no Index II on Friday. The commercial is part of an ongoing collaboration between the two anime.
The story follows the daily life of an ordinary high school boy named Kyōsuke Kōsaka. Kyōsuke's younger sister Kirino is a pretty fashion model — but also a secret otaku of adult games. Kyōsuke is the only person to whom Kirino reveals her hidden obsession and other issues. The series will premiere in Japan on October 3.
The official website and YouTube channel for Toaru Majutsu no Index II also began streaming a 15-second collaborative commercial narrated by Oreimo's Kirino (Ayana Taketatsu) character on Friday. The second television anime based on Kazuma Kamachi's Toaru Majutsu no Index light novels will premiere on October 8.
Bandai's Anime Channel began streaming its second promotional video for the second Mobile Suit Gundam UC volume on YouTube on Wednesday. The anime adapts Harutoshi Fukui's 10 novel volumes of the same name, which are set in the same Universal Century (UC) timeline as Yoshiyuki Tomino and Sunrise's first Gundam series, Zeta Gundam, and the other sequels. Bandai Visual's Blu-ray Disc volume will ship simultaneously in multiple countries with Japanese and English dubbing, as well as Japanese, English, French, Spanish, and Chinese subtitles, in November. It will also be available in the PlayStation Store for the Sony PlayStation 3 and PSP game consoles on October 30.
