posted on by Egan Loo
Director Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, The Sky Crawlers, Avalon) is shooting footage for an image trailer for From Software's Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, the upcoming Xbox 360 mecha action game that uses the Kinect motion sensor. Oshii is shooting on location in Poland to allow viewers to experience the realistic environment and weapons of the game.
CAPCOM's official Japanese website for the game began streaming a preview of the collaboration trailer on Thursday. The website also launched the first secret file that delves into the background of the game.
Oshii also filmed his live-action 2001 movie Avalon in Poland.
