Robot Anime Majestic Prince's 2nd Promo Profiles Characters

The official website for the April 2013 space robot anime Ginga Kikōtai Majestic Prince began streaming the second full promotional video on Saturday:
The story follows humanity after it expanded its frontier into space in a quest for resources. Advances in genetic engineering research allow humans to adapt to the new frontier, leading to the advent of evolved children such as the protagonist Izuru Hitachi. He enrolls in an academy city called Gurantseere to fulfill his mission of "protecting humanity" with robotic mecha against an unknown race.
Izuru is assigned the impossible duty of leading Team Rabbits — nicknamed the "Zannen 5" (Disappointing Five) — of the MJP Project.
The other lieutenants in the team include:
the arrogant pilot Toshikazu Asagi
the airhead girl Tamaki Irie
the self-assured but naive control officer Kei Kugimiya
the chatty military otaku and gunner Ataru Suruga
Captain Rin Suzukaze of warship Godinion trains Team Rabbits under the command of MJP commander Simon Gatō.
The main staff for the anime includes:

- Character Designer: Hisashi Hirai (Mobile Suit Gundam Seed franchise)
- Series Script Editor/Script: Reiko Yoshida (K-ON! franchise)
- Production: Dogakobo/Orange
Rando Ayamine and Hikaru Arashima's Majestic Prince manga began serializing in Monthly Hero's inaugural issue last year, and Shogakukan Creative published the first volume of the manga in October.
