Fans voted for the Second Mizukage to feature in the game. The four "Kage" will be playable this time: the Second Tsuchikage, the Second Mizukage, the Fourth Kazekage, and the Third Raikage. Namco Bandai Games Europe describes the Second Mizukage:
Leader of the Kirigakure and a member of the Hozuki clan, he typically has a happy and easy going personality, but you better not laugh about his facial hair! He can turn his body into water and even shoot high velocity balls of very dense water from his fingers. The Second Tsuchikage is his number one enemy!
The fighting game will include a total of 50 minutes of brand new anime footage animated by Studio Pierrot. The game will feature new gameplay mechanics, including the Combination Ultimate Jutsu attacks that allow players to combine powers to create more powerful techniques. CyberConnect2 is again developing the fighting game, and Namco Bandai Games has already announced that the game will ship in North America and Europe in 2014. The game will also ship in Japan this year.
