posted on by Egan Loo

The official website for the television anime of Cool-Kyou-Sinnjya's Komori-san wa Kotowarenai! (Komori Can't Refuse!) manga announced the cast and staff on Thursday:

Aya Uchida as Shuri Komori
Ari Ozawa as Megumi Saichō
Maria Naganawa as Masako Negishi

Kenichi Imaizumi (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Brynhildr in the Darkness) is directing the anime at the animation studio Artland, and Yurie Kuniyuki (Denki-Gai) is serving as character designer and chief animation director. Arte Refact (Gokujyo. Gokurakuin Joshi Kōryō Monogatari) is scoring the music, and the anime will use the song "To Aru Itsumo o" by the band Yuuhei Satellite as its theme.

Yūka Suguro is in charge of the series scripts, and Yukari Yasuda is the art director at Green. Yoriko Matsumori is the color key artist, and Yuuta Nakamura is director of photography. Daisuke Hiraki is editing, and Kengo Kawazoe is directing the sound at Dax Production. Arte Refact's Satoru Kuwabara and Kōji Abe are producing the music at bilibili, and GENCO is producing the overall project.

The anime will premiere in October.

The manga revolves around middle school student Shuri Komori, who is too kind and is unable to say no when someone asks her for a favor. However, she has gained various amazing abilities as a result.

Cool-Kyou-Sinnjya launched the manga in Houbunsha's Manga Time Original magazine in the April 2012 issue, and Houbunsha published the third compiled volume in October 2014.

Cool-Kyou-Sinnjya's four-panel manga Danna ga Nani o Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken (I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying) has inspired two television anime. The first adaptation premiered in October 2014, and Crunchyroll streamed it as it aired. Crunchyroll also streamed the second season, which premiered in April.
