This year's 47th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump revealed on Monday that the television anime for Jōmyaku and artist Mizuki Yoda's Marriage Toxin manga will premiere in April 2026.

The anime stars:

Motonobu Hori (Carole & Tuesday) is directing the anime at Bones Film. Kimiko Ueno (Astro Note) is in charge of the script and series composition. Taisei Iwasaki (Belle) and Yuma Yamaguchi (Metallic Rouge) are composing the music. Kōhei Tokuoka (The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity) is serving as chief animation director.

Viz Media licensed the manga, and it describes the story:

As a deadly assassin from the poison clan, Gero swears he'll never settle down—that is, until the family orders his sister to produce the poison clan's next heir. Refusing to let his sister abandon her chance at true love with her girlfriend, Gero desperately turns to marriage swindler Mei Kinosaki for relationship advice. Can Kinosaki turn this trained killer into a charming husband-to-be?

Jōmyaku and Yoda launched the manga on the Shonen Jump+ app in April 2022. Shueisha published the manga's 15th compiled book volume on October 3. The manga is also in English on Shueisha's MANGA Plus app.
