Final work in 7th Dragon series ships in Japan on October 15 for 3DS

Sega began streaming two introduction videos on Friday for the Fortuner and Samurai job classes for 7th Dragon III code:VFD, the latest entry in the 7th Dragon role-playing game series.

Players chose from three different "styles" for their character: Atlantis, Tokyo, or Eden. Additionally, the game features 40 voice actors and actresses to choose from for the character's voice. Players can also choose from eight different professions: Samurai, God Hand, Agent, Duelist, Rune-Knight, Fortuner, Mage, and Vanisher.

The game will debut on the Nintendo 3DS on October 15 for 5,990 yen (about US$49) via physical and digital releases. The game will feature stages in the past, present, and future, and it serves as the final work in the 7th Dragon series.

Shirow Miwa (Dogs manga) is designing the characters, Yūzō Koshiro is composing the sound, sasakure.UK is writing and arranging the theme song, and Jūrō Watari is producing the game. Annabel will perform the theme song "ChRøNiClESeVeN." Miwa, Koshiro, and sasakure.UK also worked on the previous games in the series.

Sega released the first 7th Dragon 2020 game for the PSP in 2011, followed by the second for the PSP in 2013. The 7th Dragon 2020 games are spinoffs of the original 7th Dragon video game that Sega released on the Nintendo DS in 2009.
