Yowapeda/Yowamushi Pedal Gets New Stage Play in March

The next stage play production based on Wataru Watanabe's high school bicycling manga Yowapeda (Yowamushi Pedal) will launch next March. According to the teaser on the official website, the story will "plunge headlong into the new generation of Sōhoku High School" as the main character Sakamichi Onoda and others enter the second year. The new production will play in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka, and Kanagawa.
The announcement of the next production was made at the final performance of the latest production, Yowamushi Pedal Irregular ~Futatsu no Chōjō~, at Fukuoka's Canal City Theater. This final performance streamed live into movie theaters throughout Japan:
The manga also inspired a television anime, and production on a third season has been green-lit.
