M&C! Licenses In the Name of Love Manga

Indonesian publisher M&C! announced on Friday that it has licensed Mizuki Tsuge's In the Name. of Love (Kimi no Na wo) manga. The company will release the manga's first compiled book volume on January 6.
The manga adapts Momo Umetani's historical novel series of the same Name. Both the novels and manga center around Chizuko Sakurai, a Normal Girl, who nevertheless hears a voice calling to her upon passing through the torii gates of the Tsurugaoka Hachimangū shrine in Kamakura. Suddenly, she finds herself having traveled through time to the Kamakura period. While trying to find a way to get back, she encounters the famous Prince Morinaga.
Tsuge launched the series in 2012 in Kadokawa's Mahō no i-Land web magazine, and ended the series in 2013. Kadokawa published four compiled book volumes for the manga. Umetani launched the original novel series in 2009.
