Aniplus HD to Air HaruChika, ERASED, Norn9 Anime in January

HaruChika, ERASED will air on same day as Japan

Southeast Asian channel Aniplus HD confirmed with ANN on Tuesday that it will broadcast the HaruChika (HaruChika: Haruta to Chika wa Seishun Suru), ERASED (Boku dake ga Inai Machi), and Norn9 (Norn9: Norn + Nonette) anime in January. In addition, the channel confirmed that it will continue its airing of the Utawarerumono: The False Faces and Galilei Donna anime series.

Aniplus HD describes HaruChika:

An adolescent mystery that revolves around a brass band club with a touch of bittersweet high school love. Childhood friends Chika Homura and Haruta Kamijo belong to a small brass band club on the verge of dissolution. While active and busy practicing and enthusiastically recruiting new members, they come across various mysteries.

The series will premiere on January 7. Aniplus HD will air the series on the same day at 10:00 p.m. for Indonesia and Thailand, and at 11:00 p.m. for Singapore.

The series is based on Sei Hatsuno's HaruChika: Haruta to Chika wa Seishun Suru "concert band youth mystery" novel series. Masakazu Hashimoto (Tari Tari, Soul Eater Not! Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva) is directing the anime at P.A. Works. Reiko Yoshida (Bakuman., K-ON!, Yowamushi Pedal, Tamako Market) is handling the series composition, Namaniku ATK (Chaika - The Coffin Princess) is in charge of the original character design, and Asako Nishida (Love Live! School idol project, Vampire Knight, Angel Links) is adapting those designs for animation. Yurie Oohigashi is serving as chief animation director, and Noboru Sugimitsu is directing the instrument-playing animation. Ayumi Satō is the art director with Katsue Inoue as color key artist. Yōhei Hirata is directing the CG, and Satoshi Namiki is director of photography. Ayumu Takahashi is editing. Satoki Iida is directing the sound at Glovision, and Katsuhiro Nakano is handling sound effects. Shiroh Hamaguchi (Ah! My Goddess, One Piece, Sakura Wars) is composing the music with producer Terunari Yoshie at Lantis.

The band fhána will perform the opening theme song "Niji wo Ametara" (If You Knit a Rainbow), while singer ChouCho will perform the ending theme "Kūsō Traingle" (Imaginary Triangle).

Aniplus HD describes ERASED:

Satoru Fujinuma is a young manga artist struggling to make a name for himself following his debut. But, that was not the only thing in his life that Satoru was feeling frustrated about… he was also living with a strange condition only he was able to experience called REVIVAL, a strange phenomenon where one is transferred back to the moment right before something life-threatening occurs. This continues to happen until the cause of the threat is erased. It is as if somebody is forcing Satoru to stop it from happening.Then one day, everything is changed! What truths are revealed when Satoru comes face to face with his own past? How will they affect his future?

The series will premiere on January 8 in Fuji TV's noitamina programming block. Aniplus HD will air the series on the same day at 10:00 p.m. for Indonesia and Thailand, and at 11:00 p.m. for Singapore.

The anime is based on Kei Sanbe's Boku dake ga Inai Machi manga series. Tomohiko Ito (Sword Art Online, Silver Spoon) is directing the series and Taku Kishimoto (Silver Spoon, Haikyu!!) is handling series composition at A-1 Pictures. Keigo Sasaki (The Seven Deadly Sins, Blue Exorcist) is designing the characters for the anime and Yuki Kajiura (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Sword Art Online) is composing the music.

Aniplus HD describes Norn9: Norn + Nonette:

Guided by one particular song, young elementary school student Suzuhara Sorata, from the Heisei Era, is warped through a time skip to an unfamiliar place that looks much like the towns from the Meiji or Taishou period from his textbooks. In this world, he meets three young ladies and nine young men and joins them on a journey aboard the mysterious Norn ship, a giant globe that floats in mid-air.

The series will premiere on January 7. Aniplus HD will air the series four days after its Japanese airing on January 11 at 10:00 p.m. for Indonesia and Thailand, and at 11:00 p.m. for Singapore.

The anime is based on Otomate's Norn9: Norn + Nonette PlayStation Portable otome game. In the game, the player can choose between three different girls as the heroine, each with their own three male characters to romance. The main cast from the game reprise their roles for the anime.

Takao Abo (episode director for Eureka Seven, Macross Frontier, assistant director for Lunar Legend Tsukihime) is making his directorial debut at Kinema Citrus and Orange. Tetsuo Ichimura (Ane Log, episode director for Bleach, Penguindrum) is serving as assistant director, Natsuko Takahashi (My Love Story!!, 07-Ghost) is handling the series composition, and Yukari Takeuchi (animation director for Bleach, Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 1000%) is adapting Teita's original character designs for anime and is also serving as chief animation director.

Nagi Yanagi will perform the show's opening theme song "Kazekiri." Kaori Oda (Baccano! Pandora Hearts) will perform the ending theme song "Zero to Kei."

Otomate and Idea Factory released the game for PSP in May 2013. The PlayStation Vita port, Norn9: Var Commons, shipped in Japan in December 2014. Otomate and Idea Factory will release a new game in the franchise titled Norn + Nonette Act Tune on the PS Vita in 2016.

Aksys Games released Norn9: Var Commons in North America and Europe on November 3.
