Manga marks 1st time Oshimi, Inio Asano running series in same magazine

This year's fifth issue of Shogakukan's Big Comic Superior magazine revealed on Friday that manga creator Shūzō Oshimi is launching a new manga titled Chi no Wadachi (Blood Furrow; pictured right in below image) in the magazine's next issue on February 24. The manga will have a color opening page and will feature in the issue's front cover.

The magazine teases the manga:

The illusion of that person leads me astray. Mother and son. This is the ultimate favoritism.

His launch of the manga will mark the first time he and Inio Asano (Goodnight Punpun, Solanin) will serialize a manga in the same magazine. Asano will launch his own new Reiraku manga series (pictured left in above image) in the magazine's seventh issue on March 10.

Oshimi launched the Flowers of Evil manga in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in 2009 and ended the series in the June 2014 issue. Vertical published the manga in North America, and Crunchyroll streamed the anime adaptation as it aired in Japan in 2013. Sentai Filmworks released the anime on home video in 2014.

Oshimi's Inside Mari manga ran in Futabasha's Manga Action magazine from 2012 to September 2016. Crunchyroll began publishing the manga series online in December 2013. Oshimi launched the ongoing manga Happiness in 2015, and Kodansha Comics is publishing the manga in English.
