Yui Ogura Comments on YuiKaori Duo's Breakup

Voice actress Yui Ogura posted on her official blog on Wednesday regarding the recent announcement of the breakup of Yuikaori, the musical duo comprising her and fellow voice actress Kaori Ishihara.
Ogura stated that she is still confused over the announcement, but that her and Ishihara's relationship remains unchanged from before. She said that she respects Ishihara's decision, and that both are now looking ahead to move on.
The duo will cease activity as a group on June 30. Ishihara also left her agency Sigma Seven. Ogura was also previously represented by Sigma Seven, but moved to Clare Voice at the beginning of 2016.
The unit formed in 2009. Yuikaori released the single "Ring Ring Rainbow!!" in 2015 with the opening theme song for the television anime of Ayumu Kasuga's four-panel manga Jōkamachi no Dandelion (Castle Town Dandelion). The two voice actresses also voiced Hikari and Kanade Sakurada in the anime. The group also performed an ending theme song for the Akiba's Trip anime.
