Bandai Namco Entertainment America began streaming a trailer for its upcoming Little Witch Academia: Chamber Of Time game for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam on Tuesday. Akko, the main character of the anime and the game, narrates the video. The trailer also showcases Akko exploring Luna Nova Magical Academy and battling enemies using magic.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America plans to release the role-playing game in early 2018. The company describes the "3D action beat 'em up" game's original story:

Having been inspired by a famous witch named Shiny Chariot, an ordinary girl named Atsuko (Akko) Kagari enrolls at Luna Nova Magical Academy, a prestigious school for young girls training to become witches. Before starting summer vacation, Akko and her new classmates find out about an inexplicable phenomenon at Luna Nova caused by the Seven Wonders, which has been passed down for several centuries. Now it's up to Akko as she takes on the adventure to unravel the mystery surrounding the Seven Wonders.

The game will arrive in Japan on November 30 for the PS4. People who pre-order the game in Japan will receive a product code to download and play the special bonus PS4 game "Madō Senshi Guransharion" (Sorcerer Warrior Grancharion), inspired by a robot mecha that appears in episode 18 of the anime. The limited first pressing of the game in Japan will include an exclusive box illustrated by Trigger, a special contents Blu-ray Disc, a drama CD, an exclusive art book, and a game original Chariot Card.

Studio Trigger's Little Witch Academia television anime premiered on January 8 and concluded with 25 episodes on June 25. Netflix debuted the first 13 episodes outside Japan on June 30.
