Manga Artist Inio Asano to Attend Toronto Comic Arts Festival

The Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF) announced on Monday that it will host manga creator Inio Asano as a featured guest at its 2018 event. The festival will be Asano's first visit to North America.
Asano is attending the festival in support of Viz Media's release of Asano's Dead Dead Demon's Dededededestruction manga, which will ship on April 17. Asano will participate in an on-stage interview and autograph sessions, as well as a live drawing for the festival's professional development program.
Viz Media has also published Asano's previous series Solanin, What a wonderful world!, and Goodnight Punpun. Fantagraphics Books published Asano's horror manga Nijigahara Holograph in 2014, and Vertical Comics published Asano's A Girl on the Shore manga in 2016.
This year's TCAF will take place from May 12-13 in Toronto, Ontario. The festival will have a professional development day on May 11.
