KLab, Kadokawa Reveal Lapis Re:LiGHTs Project With Anime, Game

KLab Games and Kadokawa revealed on Saturday that their "Project PARALLEL" multimedia project is titled Lapis Re:LiGHTs. The project will get an anime project, a smartphone game, music releases, a manga in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine, and novels under Kadokawa's MF Bunko J label.
The project will start with a mobile online game. Music distributor JVC Kenwood Victor Entertainment and mobile online developer altplus are both cooperating on the project.
The theme of the project is "The idols in this world can use magic." "Asa no Hajime" is writing the scenario, and U35 is designing the characters. Yoshitaka Murayama is collaborating on the worldview setting, and Zuji is providing concept art.
The franchise will center around six idol units, which are as follows:
