Val x Love Anime's Teaser Reveals Staff, October Premiere

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Ryousuke Asakura's Val x Love (Ikusa x Koi) manga began streaming a teaser video for the anime on Friday. The video reveals the anime's staff and October premiere. The site also unveiled a new visual for the anime.

The anime will premiere on AT-X, Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and BS 11 in October.

Takashi Naoya is (Luck & Logic, Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru, Real Girl) is directing the anime at Hoods Entertainment. Tatsuya Takahashi (The [email protected] Cinderella Girls, Katana Maidens: Toji no Miko, Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles) is supervising the series' scripts. Kiyoshi Tateishi (animation director for Ghost In The Shell: The New Movie) is the character designer and chief animation director. TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND (Witch Craft Works, Kakegurui, Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san) is composing the music.

Yen Press is publishing the manga in English, and it released the fifth volume on February 19. The company describes the first volume:

Asakura launched the manga in the magazine in December 2015, and the seventh compiled book volume shipped on May 11. The manga has 450,000 copies in print.
