BanG Dream! 3rd Season Anime's Teaser Video Reveals January 23 Premiere

Airing before Spring 2020's separate Argonavis anime

The second day of the "Rausch und/and Craziness" concerts announced with a teaser video on Sunday that the third season of the BanG Dream! anime will premiere on January 23.

The concerts also announced that the Raise A Suilen band will hold "The Creation ~We are Raise A Suilen" concert on December 29 in Tokyo, followed by the "BanG Dream! Special Live Girls Band Party! 2020" event by the franchise's bands on May 3, 2020 at Saitama's MetLife Dome. Most of the bands will then hold the "BanG Dream 8th Live Netsu no Yagai 3 Days" open-air concerts from August 21 to 23 in Fujikyu Highland. Finally, Poppin' Party will have its own "BanG Dream 8th Live Aki no Poppin' Party" concert in early October at a venue to be announced later.

The main BanG Dream! television anime's first 13-episode season premiered in January 2017, and Anime Network Online and Crunchyroll streamed the first season as it aired in Japan. The anime's second season premiered on January 3. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime, and HIDIVE and Crunchyroll both streamed the series as it aired.

The franchise also inspired an anime film titled BanG Dream! FILM LIVE, which opened in 56 theaters in Japan on September 13.

The BanG Dream! franchise's Argonavis all-male band will have both an anime and a game project of its own. The anime will broadcast in spring 2020, while the game, titled Argonavis from BanG Dream! AASide will debut in the latter half of 2020.
