Tubi Adds Tai Chi Chasers Anime With Different Dub of Last 13 Episodes (Updated)

39-episode Japanese animated series premiered in Korea in 2007

Tai Chi Chasers
Tubi added the Tai Chi Chasers (Tai Chi Senjimon) 39-episode Japanese animated series on Monday, with the English dub from 4Kids Entertainment for the anime's first two seasons, but with a different dub for the show's third and final season (the last 13 episodes). The M&E (music and effects) track for the third season appears to be missing many of the sound effects.

4Kids Entertainment did not dub the final 13 episode season of the show. Zaki Paul, the credited director for the dub in Tubi's release, was not involved with 4Kids Entertainment's dub of the first two seasons of the anime. ANN has reached out to Toei Animation to verify the legality of the streamed videos.

Zaki Paul previously released the last 13 episodes with English subtitles and low-quality video on Amazon Prime Video in 2022.

ANN previously reported on Tubi adding the show to its catalog without mentioning the questionable circumstances of the release. The original article can be seen below:

Tubi is streaming the Tai Chi Chasers (Tai Chi Senjimon) 39-episode Japanese animated series with its English dub.

4Kids Entertainment adapted the series for U.S. television in 2011, and it describes the story:

After a strange and devastating attack on his home, a young boy named Rai is shocked to discover he's a secret descendent of the Tigeroids: an ancient race of peaceful beings locked in a struggle with the ruthless and cunning Dragonoids. In a parallel universe called Suhn, the Tigeroids and Dragonoids are battling furiously to recover 500 lost tai chi characters. Whoever retrieves these precious and potent symbols will possess the ultimate power to rule their realm…and destroy their enemies. As Rai hones his innate tai chi skills to fight the Dragonoids, he must find the lost tai chi and battle to become one of the champion Tai Chi Chasers!

The veteran Japanese studio Toei Animation, the Korean studio JM Animation, and the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) co-produced the series with traditional cel animation and computer graphics. The series premiered on Korean television in 2007. Hulu previously streamed the series.
