The Player Who Can't Level Up webtoon is set to receive a full-scale video game adaptation, scheduled for release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Tripearl Games is developing the fast-paced action game.

Tripearl Games released an official announcement trailer featuring the game's first gameplay footage, highlighting its combat mechanics, boss encounters, and cinematic presentation. The title is being developed using Unreal Engine 5, with no loading screens and full camera control.

Based on the web novel/webtoon, the game introduces a new side story created in collaboration with the original creators. The story centers on Ki-gyu Kim, a protagonist who is unable to level up in the traditional sense and must instead rely on skill and strategic adaptation to progress. The gameplay incorporates roguelite mechanics, offering randomized “Ego Shards” and “Blessings” that allow for different builds in each playthrough.

Key features of the game include:

  • High-speed melee combat with multiple attack modes
  • Perk- and enhancement-based progression through repeated runs
  • A new original narrative designed for existing fans and new players
  • 3D visuals powered by Unreal Engine 5
  • Emphasis on replayability with randomized upgrades and skills

The Player Who Can't Level Up is currently available to wishlist on Steam.

Drawn by Tae_A, the original webtoon began serialization in 2021 and accumulated over 210 million views globally. The series topped webtoon rankings on Kakao Page, Piccoma, and Tapas.

Fans can read the English version of the webtoon on Tapas. The English version of the web novel, written by GaVinGe, is available on Wuxia World.
