unOrdinary Webtoon Returns with Season 3 After Yearlong Hiatus

The unOrdinary webtoon by uru-chan has officially returned with Chapter 347, released on July 31. The comeback follows a production break after the conclusion of Season 2 on June 6, 2024. In the interim, a series of side stories was published between June and July 2024 to bridge the gap. The webtoon has attracted more than 1.3 billion views on WEBTOON. uru-chan previously stated the third season would be the final season.

The story of unOrdinary reads:

Nobody paid much attention to John – just a normal teenager at a high school where the social elite happen to possess unthinkable powers and abilities. But John's got a secret past that threatens to bring down the school's whole social order – and much more. Fulfilling his destiny won't be easy though, because there are battles, frenemies and deadly conspiracies around every corner.

To celebrate the return, WEBTOON shared a light animation teaser on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption, “these powerhouses are back unOrdinary returns on WEBTOON.” The short video features key characters in motion.
