Hulu Adds Popular Anime Series, “One Piece” to Fast Growing Anime Library
Anime has continued to be one of the most popular genres on the Hulu service in the last year.
Today, we continue to build out our anime library with the addition of One Piece, a long-running shōnen manga that has gained popularity throughout the anime community.
One Piece follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a 17-year-old boy, who gained supernatural abilities by eating a magical fruit, and his ragtag crew of heroic pirates, named the Straw Hats. Luffy's greatest ambition is to obtain the world's ultimate treasure, One Piece, and thereby become the next King of the Pirates.
With three anime series ranking in the top 40 all-time shows on Hulu, including Naruto Shippūden (#14), Naruto (#26) and Bleach (#40), fans of anime can expect to see more anime added to the Hulu library over the next few months.
